Ezra sits down next to her, placing a hand on her shoulder. "Is there any way I can help you to get the power you need to get there, and take me with you? I would really like to know if my parent's are okay or not; I would be in your debt for a long time if you could."

From just the touch of Ezra, Alex's left eye turned a solid black color. she stood up and walked from Ezra, her golden cross illumination a bit, but she kept well in hiding it from him. "I don't know what you can do." Alex had her wings folded beneath her skin, but from just Ezra's touch, her skin bulged a bit, her form changing.

Ezra noticed her back bulging, "hey umm, Alex, is something wrong with your back? It's starting to bulge outwards... is there anything i can do to help?"

Alex took a deep breath, her eye flicking back to their normal red color, her amulet fading back to normal. She turned around and smiled. "Its nothing, I was just hunched over a bit." She said smiling, her back smoothing out again. She turned around to show him it normally. "See?"

Ezra reached up to touch her on the shoulder again "You sure, because you know, I feel like i did something that caused like an allergic reaction or something, I felt a surge of energy waves coming from your direction."

"No, I'm fine, really." She said as she held his rifle back to him. "Here, this is yours."

Ezra gently removes his Rifle from her hands. "okay, if you say so."

Dust swayed up from the ground, going though her nose as she turned to sneeze. "That." She said rubbing her nose lightly. "Was just the dust." saying with another sneeze.

Ezra walks up to Alex and kisses her lightly on the cheek. "Thank you for your help, Alex. Hey, Maybe I'll see you around." Ezra walks to the door and turns the doorknob.

"Help?" She said quietly to herself, touching her cheek. She spun around to stop him. "I didn't do anything though, all I did was completely kill some guys car."

"But, Alex. That was help. I couldn't do it, and i needed it done, you helped me, in such a big way that you can't even imagine how much you've helped me. Now I am free to come out during the day and search for my parents. I can't see in the dark like a bat can, i need the sun out if I am to go to that park and try to find the portal again."

"So, you want me to guide your though the park and find this portal that opens up during the night?" Alex said not thinking to well on what he was saying.

"i've tried that, the portal only shows up during the day, around the same time that it took my parents. I just can't get to it because that guy would stop me every time."

"So kill the bastard. Any people try and kill you, you take them down as well. Don't be such a wimp when it would come to killing them." Alex said smiling, she walked up to Ezra. "And that can't be the only portal. We could try another look around right now if you want."

Ezra blushes as she stpes closer. "Okay, if you'd like to help me further, unfortunately, i don't have any more money... so i can't pay you with cash for your services."

"I don't know, but i don't like the idea of just asking for help when i have nothing to give in return, it just sorta bugs me like i take a lot but don't give. I don't like that feeling, i don't like to feel selfish."

"Well, forget the elevator." Alex said with a devilish grin. "We take a different way." She took Ezra's hand and pulled him to the other end of the roof, moving behind him as she pushes him toward the ledge as if to just push him off. "Stop dragging your feet."

Ezra does as he told. "Why are you pushing me off the edge, Alex? I thought you were different then the others..."

"There is a lot you don't know about me." Alex said as they both reached the ledge. "Well, here we are. The ledge." Alex made it seem like it was something the kids would go to, something like the rock, or the peak. She starts to laugh a bit, but it didn't last long, for only a few seconds after,. Ezra felt her hands cross over his back, a force acting upon them. Soon he fell the breeze rushing though his whole body, a feelingly of flying, for as he realized what had just happened, he was just pushed off.

Ezra grimaces as he prepares to hit the ground. "Well, I guess this is the end, maybe after i die, i'll see them..."

Soon after Ezra thought he would die, he felt something hug around him He turned his head to find Alex was the one hugging him. Her wings were painted the same color as the sky, making it seem like she jumped off to die with him. "So, you thought dieing would bring you to your parents did you?" She asked him as she looked at him for a bit, turning back to face the horizon.

"Am I dreaming?" Ezra pinched himself. "How do you glide through the air like this, Alex?"

Alex rose high into the air. Once high enough he pulled one of her wings closer to her face, turning her head to rip a feather off with her teeth. She supported Ezra's weight with one of her hands as she took the feather with her mouth. Moving one of her hands away from Ezra, she takes the single feather and holds it in the moon light. "Wings, hun." She said as she spread out her wing again, diving back down a bit and flying to the park.

"Wings, nice. I wish i had a method of transportaion other than feet. and may I ask a question?" Ezra says and then continues without waiting for an answer "did you just call me hun?"
